Man, why is it that every time I have an English oral presentation, I get a cold? At least it didn't get terrible until later, hah hah hah
Next week, I'll have some free time to write a poem of mourning for the now deceased UAI system... now it's ATAR, or something...
But right now, sleep
(regardless... have... to bump... marks... up... so final result will be up by one... which is sad. I'm doing worse after I got my estimate than before I got it... at least it'd be spectacular if I didn't drop down... hope the Hamlet essay was okay...)

I sprained my ankle yesterday. It hurts like hell and I can't play netball on Saturday. That's the down side. On the up side, that means more time in the comic book store on Saturday during Free Comic Book Day. When they're having a sale as well. I know. Awesome, right? I might pick up a Cable and Deadpool trade, just for old time's sake... I better bump into Patch there though. Otherwise. I'd feel. Awkward 8D
Moving on. Today was the first senior challenge and it rocked. So You Think You Can Dance was the theme and it was awesome. I took some extra low quality videos on my phone. Might upload them when my net isn't capped...
Also. HSC Timetable is up. I just realised today. Dang... but my days aren't that bad. I end on Rememberence Day or, as some would like to remember it, Gough Whitlam Dismissal Day. |

... I've been wondering where all my time went. 6 more days until school begins and I'm pretty sure the first thing that will happen is that Ms P will kill me. Yup. So long guys. What greater way to make myself feel better than to waste even more time by trying to figure out how exactly Fukki from Houshin Engi's costume works? And then the realisation hit that there are contradictions between when he's wearing his hat and when he's not wearing his hat, thus in the end, what I sketched was wrong anyway. Oh well. Oh Fujiryuu, you are indeed the master of costumes and awesome. I don't think I've ever read anything that's captured me as much as Houshin Engi did.
I might colour this sketch later. Really though, I merely drew it to evaluate the confusing clothing he wears.

Also, went to watch Travesties yesterday. Stoppard. Is. A. Genius. It was beautiful, entertaining and clever. The Sydney Theatre Company did it beautifully. Even though there was a lot of mishap where we went to the wrong theatre and had only fifteen minutes to run all the way to the Sydney Opera House XD;; but I'm glad we made it and the day was eventful to say the least. Something to remember, hah hah. |

... thus is my holidays.... and thus I am screwed. I haven't touched my animation much, not to mention, my Extension 2 major work. I have my Viva Voce in week 3 and I have no bloody idea what my story's about. True fact. I just wrote it and I have no idea what it's about. Still need to chisel it and make it a second draft though, so not up to scratch right now. And I owe 5 essays or something that were due at the end of last term. Joys all around. 8D So in that procrastination, I painted my nails black, woo.
You know, I've realised. I really, really, really hate it when people aren't direct with me. Being direct doesn't mean you have to be tactless. You can be direct in a loving way, but seriously, if you've got issues with me, confront me, jerkfaces... ,___, I just wanna do what's best for everyone but if no one tells me what the crap is going on, and I keep having to make assumptions, how the heck am I supposed to respond or do what's right? Last Tuesday was plain uncomfortable. It really was. Not just because Patch and Jen were doing who knows what right next to me, ah hah hah.
Man, this post is so disjointed, hah hah. I'm still waiting for my Cable/X-Force Messiah Wars crossovers to get shipped in because I had school and couldn't go to the comic book store every time the issues came out and by the time I could, they were all sold out. Since shipments come out each Thursday, next Thursday, have to go to Phantom Zone and buy X-Force #14 as well as Detective Comics #853 (YES, FINALLY. Sad thing was, I didn't know it was coming out on Thursday until this morning... yet, I still had a dream about it last night...). Also. May 2nd is Free Comic Book Day and a sale at Phantom Zone... that means... goodbye to my Chinese New Years money. Seriously. Though... I'm not quite sure what to buy yet.... which trades and all...

Year 12 is getting hard... but somehow it's like everything that's due is English related. Even Art is an essay... raaaargh... I have to start my animation soon... huh... it should be... tedious, I suppose.
Anything interesting happen this month? Went out on Valentine's Day and secretly boo'd at people, I suppose... sorry, I meant... "Quirky Alone Day"... 'cause yeah... totally... though I did meet up with Tarou (yeah, man, you got a mention... I'm do tired to elaboraaaaaaate) later, which was pretty cool... and I went to K yesterday, which was pretty cool too... kinda sleazy though... I didn't think you could have sleazy and Disney in the same K session... but apparently, you can. Shows what kind of people I hang around, I suppose. Oh you guys... sadly, most of you don't have LJ. Damn you guys. Great. Now 'Toxic' is stuck in my head.
I haven't had time to draw lately, but I've been working on a picture in photoshop when I got sick of writing my Ext 2 English draft (which I should finish soon... but am no where near done)

I was so sleepy in school today, so dead~ Walking to the station from school carrying my strangely large bag, a folder and formal fund-raising chocolates didn't help either T_T so many stupid Freddos to sell~
Man I feel insane... I'm trying to do the full version of the Hare Hare Yukai from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu... it's insane but it's fun XD even though dancing isn't one of my very strong points, in fact, far from it. I'm gonna be so screwed for my PE assessment which involves doing... *drumroll* HIPHOP DANCING. Seriously, they should burn for it... BURN!!!... I wonder if I can merge hiphop with parapara *snigger* >D... not that I can dance parapara anyway...

So yeah... all the assements are in 2 weeks and I need to start on my SRP, otherwise, I am 100% screwed over... at least I have a model for VA and I was the first one to start on my canvas =D Hooray!!! Man, I really have to thank Dylan for accepting my pleas... but I have to kill him about what he said about people do in VA... >_> bbbbbbboooooooo ah well ^^;;
So anyway, gonna meet up with Ella tomorrow to pick up wig and hang around Kino for a while before heading back home to rest 8D laziness over comes ALL, then, maybe ask mum about Akatsuki cloak and Paypal... if the Paypal thing fails... well then... hmmm...
So anyway, I'll be heading off to BASIC soon... it's so exciting that we're designing the shirts for this year >w< it's awesome~ can't wait 'til the decisions have been made~ and then we're going to KYCK these holidays... it'll be so awesome to see so many churches gathered in one place... I mean, they told me it'd be even better than RICE! RICE was so awesome so KYCK must be ultra awesome XD

Well, since I'm feeling slightly more energetic right now, I'll update my journal.
Anyway, I went to Animania on Saturday as most of you probably know. Loki, I'm gonna kill you, you know I will. You sent Kat after me =_=
Anyway, when I got there, there was a hhhhhuuugggggeeeee queue. Naturally, my reaction was like this---> OAO;;; but then I saw John talking to Kat. I went up to them to say 'hi' and where the end of the queue was and ended up merging with Kat's group ^^;;; however, I wasn't there for long because I saw perfectdays and miyukiko lining up a few people behind us, so I left Kat's group and went to join my fellow D.Gray-man cosplayers. It was fun talking to new people rather than sticking to my usual crowd. So yeah, when we went in, I went on a spending binge to buy stuff for V's birthday and for my sister as well (I bought Griever!!! yay!!! =D Now I can be at least a little bit like Squall~) and quickly headed upstairs to spend more money on art... mostly from Fiona's table ('cause everyone there has such great art *________*). So after that, we met up with the rest of the group and we headed out to go get photos taken by Miyu's dad but we couldn't even take 2 steps without people asking us to stop >_O;;. When we finally got out, we went to buy cards and then ate lunch. When they ate lunch, I ran back inside to the food fair to meet up withsil3nt_dreams and bakashoe but left shortly afterwards to get back to my group who had already started to take photos... so I missed a few ^^;; ah well... I'm an antagonists anyway... why would the antagonist mingle with the protagonists? <-- trying to reason self out of guilt ^_^;;
Anyway, after that, we had a little split up... I just hung around the main hall anyway because... I have no sense of time and so that I could spot people easily when time did come. After that, we went to the marshalling area to wait for our turn for cosplaying and by that time, our feet were aching because we walked around a lot and most of us weren't used to wearing anything with heels. During that time, we talked to a lot of people and I saw a year 11 girl from my school two spots behind us. She was cosplaying Yuna and she looked so awesome *_* so I said "hi" and we talked for a bit. Anyway, we did our skit after that and I think half the people in the audience thought that Kanda was a girl so they might not have gotten the joke *sigh* and the anime is coming out tomorrow in Japan... by this time next year, there were be tons of DGM cosplayers and then, we'll just be there, shaking our heads and saying "So last year~" XD So ahead of our time >=P. What was the highlight of the cosplay comp? There was none since everything was SO AWESOME... the sword demonstration went on for too long though... so yeah... but it was awesome. When the Kurama guy came on Miyu looked so distressed ^^;;; I kinda was too... but meh, I grew out of YYH a while ago so it didn't affect me as much. Micky_P's cosplay was so cool too, NO FACE and then, there was the Kamui and Fuuma that made out on stage... something that made the inner-fangirl in me squeal but what was the best skit of all? Cattypatra's DIRTY DANCING RIKU!!! They really did deserve to win XD so I was so happy when they did and when Ouran got best group, it was so expected... well, at least we got nominated =D.
After cosplaying, I stuck around with Cassie near the front of the stage and talked to people. That was really really nice, meeting people with similar interests... they were all very interesting people... but I'm probably never gonna meet them again... so... yeah *sigh* maybe next year? By then, I probably won't recognise them and vise-versa though... anyway, the cosplay results kept delaying and well, we kept hollering... it's not like we didn't know how much effort everyone put into it and all, we are just... impatient people ^^;;; but yeah, when our group was called out, Cassie and I just stared at each other going "Was that us? Eh? Was it?" and rushed on stage, still confused... though we didn't get anything at the end, I was still really happy to have done it this year and to have met so many wonderful people, unlike last year when I drifted around with no purpose whatsoever, bored out of my mind ^^;;;
Anyway, guys, thanks for all your effort and hardwork. To my group, thank you for being so wonderful and you guys looked fantastic in your costumes. To the volunteers, you guys rock! Thanks for all your hard work in getting everything together and making everything good for us. I hope to see you all next year!

Well, 2 hours ago, I just got back from St. Helensburgh for my youth group's social. We left on Saturday afternoon and came back Sunday arvo ^_^. It was very fun. My discussion group leader drove me there. Her driving was crazy. You know those bumpy bits on the road? Yeah, she sped up and it turned into a sort of rollercoaster ride, it was ssssoooo awesome XD, then my friend (who came from England) started shaking her fist at cars with the Socceroos' flag on them, so we tried to restrain her.
Anyway, yeah, car trip was pretty crazy. So when we got there, the entire St. Helensburgh youth group (HACKY) was made up of boys, some of them there weren't Christian and were only there because their friend who was, invited to there as a sort of birtday party. They were really really rowdy and annoying and thought skateboards were the coolest thing on earth, it was really hard to not say anything but yeah, we pulled through and it was worth it. I really hope our prescence planted a seed within them and that the LORD's word will run through their hands one day and they'll realise, "Wow, what have I been doing with my life up until now?" and turn to God *nod nod*, man, you have no idea how much I love the word 'evangelism'.
Anyway, yeah, we drove out onto the highway and did a walk around, the view was sssssooooo beautiful, I wish I'd brought my camera, but photos just make moments look flat... even so, I just wanted to capture the moment, it was so breathtaking. So... yeah, anyway, we were feeling very wild and started screaming out drivers to take us to Perth... that was a bit... anyway, we climbed down and walked underneath the highway to get to the water, by then it was really dark and you could barely see where you're going but the seaweed was really slimy and... gross to step on ^^;;;. When we were walking back, my discussion group leader's brother, came up to my group and told us that one of the stars in the southen cross, the one on the far right blinks because it's actually two stars spinning really fast, circulating each other. I find no reason the believe him XD but does anyone know if that's true? So yes, anyway, we went to dinner and because of our lack of participation in games, my friends and I were nicknamed the "antis"... and proud =D. That night was the most uncomfortable night of my life and I slept 4 hours because of the cold and the hard floor, even if I tried to sleep early without talking to anyone T_T.
Next day, breakfast was dodgy so I didn't eat any, then we hung around before going to the informal church service. Ally got sick halfway and went out :(. Despite that, it was ssssssssssssssssssssssooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!! A baby girl got baptised and it was so cute XD. Then we went inside and had a 'kid's club' thing, we discussed the end of Acts and what we have to do to get to heaven (which, by the way, is talked about throughout the entire Bible. Jesus died for our sins and therefore, we need not do anything to try and get into heaven but rather, as Christians, we should want to be like Christ). After that, we said our very very short farewells and left.
Well, if I thought my discussion group leader was a scary driver, her brother's worse X.x, so friggin' scary.
Sam: You guys are crazy
Us: Who was the one who encouraged us to do all these things >=O you're supposed to be responsible!!!
Anyway, yeah, so, we did a lot of swirving, plus, the boys ran out of the car and ran around it before running back in again... and... man, Sam's just... urgh XD so funny and irresponsible, we must amuse him a lot for him to blow his petrol on us like that. Anyway, after a while, we went to a lookout and we just sat there as a group of Christians and enjoyed the fresh air and view. We also discussed about our time in St. Helensburgh. After that, we got back into the car and did plenty more dangerous stuff. I swear, as Jono said, we must've caused more than 2 complaints to be filed 'cause everytime Mr. Brightside by the Killers came on at full volume, we'd wind down the windows and start shouting at pedestrians and telling other drivers to press their horns. Yes, we were feeling very very loopy. We played that song about 10 times... man... poor, poor people ^^;;; hee hee hee.... now I'm ssssoooooo deaf now... ah hah hah hah hah... ^^;;;. We drove through our church carpark and did a totally unnecessary swirve and then went out again... I have never screamed nor laughed so hard. I got a slight headache after the trip though... ah, when you opened the windows, you could smell the car's tyres burning.
Jono decided that it wasn't enough to shout out the car window because when they dropped me off, he pretended to piss on my neighbour's tree and her dog barked. ^^;; Joel fell on the floor laughing and Sam just stood there grinning. Everyone had too much sugar/caffiene or something *sweat*. Despite all that, Sam's an awesome leader *nod nod* and he did all that stuff at our request and for that, we love him so very, very much. We love you, Samantha~!!! |
